BECOME A ROOM SPONSOR FOR TRANSITIONAL HOUSING
At Mary’s Refuge, we walk alongside mothers as they rebuild their lives—offering safety, stability, and the support needed to start again. But the journey doesn’t end when a mom completes our program. Many still need a bridge between healing and true independence. That’s where Transitional Housing comes in.
Our Transitional Housing Program provides graduates of Mary’s Refuge with safe, stable, and reduced-cost—or even free—housing while they continue saving, securing reliable transportation, finishing school, and preparing for their own permanent home. It’s a crucial next step that keeps their momentum steady while opening space at Mary’s Refuge for new mothers in need. Room sponsors are needed for our recently renovated attic space, which opened up two available rooms for transitioning moms, as well as our new location on King street, which is currently under construction.
Why Transitional Housing Matters
A one-time sponsorship of $5,000 supports operational costs and allows Mary’s Refuge to sustain transitional housing that is free or low-cost for mothers rebuilding their lives.
- Provides stability during the transition
- Allows opportunity for continued growth
- Supports long-term success
- Creates space at Mary’s Refuge for more moms
What It Means to Be a Room Sponsor
As a room sponsor, you help provide a safe, furnished home for a Mary’s Refuge graduate as she takes her next steps toward independence. You’re not just sponsoring a room—you’re offering stability, dignity, and the chance for a mother and her child to build a stronger future.
one room, one mom, two families
When one mother transitions into transitional housing, a room opens in our maternity home—and another woman in need can step into safety.
Your generosity helps two families at once – the mom moving forward and the mom waiting for a place to begin again.
If you feel called to make a lasting difference, we invite you to join us as a Transitional Housing Room Sponsor.
